It is a condition of registration that when used in respect of wines the trade mark will only be used in respect of wines originating (as defined in the Australian Wine and Brandy Corporation Act 1980) in the area in respect of which the geographical indication YARRA VALLEY is registered and that the use is in accord with the Australian Wine and Brandy Corporation Act 1980.

It is a condition of registration that when used in respect of alcoholic beverages, spirits and liqueurs the trade mark will only be used in respect of alcoholic beverages, spirits and liqueurs produced in the YARRA VALLEY area.
