The applicant has advised that the CHINESE characters appearing in the trade mark may be transliterated as BING PYEO, CHEONGKWANJANG, KORYO SAM, JEOL, TO JIK SAM, 6 NYEON-GEUN, CHEON SAM, HANGUK INSAM GONGSA and translated into English as MARK FOR PROOF, HIGH RANKING GOVERNMENT OFFICIAL, CUT, KOREAN GINSENG, GINSENG DRIED STRAIGHT FROM THE LAND, 6 YEAR OLD ROOTS, THE FOURTH RANK OF GINSENG , KOREA GINSENG CORPORATION.
The mark consists of a green rectangle with a double outline. Inside the rectangle is a green border with designs of green flowers and various intersecting green lines to create the appearance of broken glass, and in the center top of the border appears two non-Latin characters in green, that transliterate to "Bing Pyeo", which translates to "Mark for Proof". The rectangle that is formed by the inside of the border is segmented, from top to bottom, into a top rectangle, a square with a left bordering rectangle, a right bordering rectangle and a bottom rectangle. The top rectangle has three non-Latin characters appearing above three more non-Latin characters, all in green. The three top non-Latin characters transliterate into "CheongKwanJang", which translates to "high ranking government official". The bottom three non-Latin characters transliterate into "Koryo sam", which translates into "Korean ginseng". Inside the square appears another green square, and inside that square is a non- Latin character in green that transliterates to "jeol", and this means "cut" in English. Below the non-Latin character inside the square are two non-Latin characters in green that transliterate to "Jeol Sam" which translates to "The fourth rank of Ginseng". Inside the rectangle bordering the square to the left are three non-Latin characters in green appearing vertically, which transliterate to "To Jik Sam", which translates to "Ginseng dried straight from the land". Inside the rectangle bordering the square to the right is the number six in green, and below the number six appears two non-Latin characters in green appearing vertically, which transliterate to "6 nyeon-geun", which translates to "6 year old roots".
